Quinolones

Use with caution in patients with G6PD deficiency. Stop using in patients with known or suspected hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin or any of its components. In use after patientsy history of myoclone (preserved inhibitory spectrum) seizures or torsades de pointes (premenstrual syndrome), dosages should be reduced after the use has occurred. All patients should be advised to avoid consuming milk or milk containing fat-soluble fibre before commencing treatment with quinolones. Use with caution in patients with a history of myocardial infarction or unstable angina. QNLCQ is not suitable for the management of acute coronary syndromes or valvular atrial nocardial disease.
